We’re celebrating Plastic Free July with a community litter sweep at Wappoo Cut Boat Landing. We’re teaming up with the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network to keep litter and plastic pollution out of this busy waterway and protect the wildlife that call it home. All supplies and instructions will be provided to conduct a litter sweep with data collection.

Please park in a designated spot away from the boat ramp and meet us under the bridge. Bring a reusable water bottle and sunscreen, dress for the weather, including closed-toe shoes. Wear mud boots if you’d like to clean up in the saltmarsh.

Afterwards, continue the camaraderie at Maybank Public House with the teams from Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network and South Carolina Aquarium. We hope to SEA you there!
