Bring your rain boots for a stroll through the high water! Join us for a SeaRise Stroll on Saturday, December 6 from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at Brittlebank Park with the South Carolina Aquarium where we will learn about the effects of tidal flooding on our community and how we can contend with it. 

As we walk, we will learn how to enter data — such as photos, salinity and water depth — into the SeaRise Project, located in the South Carolina Aquarium Citizen Science app. The SeaRise Project collects data from citizen scientists (just like you!) to assist researchers and decision-makers in collaborative and community-driven solutions to flooding and sea level rise.

Dress for the weather and wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, please download the app to your smart phone ahead of time and bring a reusable water bottle (optional).
