SEALs and Scientists: Marine Conservation with Special Operations Veterans 

Join Jim Ritterhoff, executive director of Force Blue, to learn how veterans are being redeployed to restore corals and remove invasive species , while adapting back to civilian life. Discover ways our veterans are continuing to serve our communities by protecting our marine habitats through clean ups and research. Immediately following the presentation, we will have a viewing of the short film “Swim Through” which follows special operations veterans as they teach the first Ocean Conservation School for kids.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the South Carolina Aquarium. This event is 16+. Converse with local scientists as you enjoy light bites, beer and wine. Please bring your own reusable water bottle.
