As part of the statewide effort to clean up waterways, join us as we cleanup the roadside and marsh at Gadsden Creek to remove debris before it reaches the Ashley River. We’ll meet opposite Johnson Hagood stadium near the intersection of Hagood Avenue and Fishburne Street. Street parking is available throughout the area; please avoid parking in permit-only parking areas.

Bring a reusable water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes or mud boots. All supplies and instructions will be provided to conduct a litter sweep with data collection. We thank our community partners in this effort including the Charleston Area Justice Ministry and Kids Teaching Flood Resilience.
