Join the South Carolina Aquarium, National Park Service and our local partners as we sweep Newmarket Creek and Huger Street. We’ll meet in the grassy area under the I-26 overpass off Huger Street and clean up the creek edge, parking area, and Huger streetscape. Wear closed-toe shoes or mud boots to clean up debris along the creek. 

All supplies and instructions will be provided to conduct a litter sweep with data collection. Please bring a reusable water bottle and dress for the weather. Afterwards, enjoy pizza and refreshments and connect with staff from partner organizations and community members.
